Man-O-War


The Elven Man-O-War is a large yet highly maneuverable, dependable ship. The ships are grown from glossy plants that give its wings their shiny ethereal appearance. These ships stay alive for their life span, so their wings and other parts need to be trimmed to keep them in good shape.

When King Aros assembled his armada against the Outsider/Drow attacks, he had literally tens of thousands of these ships made for the Elven Navy. Though many were destroyed in the war, and many are still in use in the Elven Navy, there are quite the abundance of these ships that can be had for cheap (under 100,000gp) from ENS (Elven Navy Surplus.) Although they can be repaired by any wood worker, it is common to keep an Elf on board as part of the crew to keep it in its most pristine condition to get the best out of the ship.
