Up until about 200 years ago, Ollarra had no name. It was thought to be a sphere with only a large sun in it. It was thought that whatever type of planet had been in the crystal sphere at one time had been destroyed and consumed by the sun. That was until the first space farers saw their first Comet, not a natural comet, but the glowing container of an Ollarran space vessel. It was hard to understand at first that it even was a vessel. The bright light that streaked across space looked like a comet with a white light source and a glowing tail behind it. When it change direction from it’s course, it was approached and investigated. It was discovered to be a ship of sorts. It was an eight sided enclosure made from a type of wall of force that could keep out the phlogistyn.. Inside were the occupants, beings in human form that claimed to come from the sun in the sphere now known as Ollarra.

Very little is known about Ollarra as no known being in either realm aside from an Ollaranyt can set foot on it’s surface, and the Ollarranyts do not often travel off of their home sun. The Ollarranyts take on the physical form of hairless, nude, male and female human bodies. Those who have special dark tinted glasses for observing the beings can even recognise different facial features in them. They are intelligent and can speak common, though they have no written language and they do not know how they came to take that language as their own. The brief studies of the beings baffle sages and scholars alike as they seem by all means to be normal, non-magical fire that is just in the shape of a human. Ollarranyts can change the brightness and intensity of their flaming bodies to some degree and most scholars agree that these minute fluctuations give additional meaning to conversations they have amongst each other. Even though they can speak common, they have an extremely hard time with normal human concepts such as possession, laws, object names, connection to animals, some emotions, and many many other things that a normal human would take for granted. This can make an Ollarranyt extremely difficult to hold a conversation with. Though they are in the from of a human in their natural state, they are not tangible and can choose to fly, alter shape, and flow like fire at will. This seems to take some effort of some sort on their part and an Ollarranyt in a resting state is always in its human form. It is not known how or if they reproduce. Although some seem younger and more child like, it is not known how long they can live, if they age, or if they can even truly die.

Ollarran ships have a piece of their own sun as a power source. They have been sought after since they were first discovered as they seem impervious to damage or dispelling. Unfortunately only an Ollarranyt can create, or control one and they are not for sale as there is very little of any tangible substance on the Ollarran home sun or concept of worth to trade to its inhabitants.

Discussions often come up among scholarly circles as to exactly why the Ollarranyts look human and speak common. Some have suggested that they are the souls of the humans that may have once inhabited the sphere on a forgotten and destroyed planet, and that their souls somehow became fused with the energy of the sun.
