Very little is known about Mynrzzydryk. The Drow home world has been a Drow only sphere for centuries. The sphere is unique in the Known Realm as it is the only one that is not clear to see through. Some scholars have suggested that their sun became so heated and bright that it scorched the inside of the crystal sphere. They go on to say that this is the entire reasoning for the Drow’s strange way of life, their warrior society, their relentless attempts at taking over other spheres, even the technology that lead to the seeming impossibility of them teleporting and detonating their sun. This is all speculation of course.

Even when not masquerading as the Outsiders, the Drow have been a trouble in the Realm for centuries. About seventy five years ago, every Drow was removed from the Known Realm and chased back into seclusion in Mynrzzydryk. Once every Drow was in place, powerful sages and wizards created detailed arcane spells to lock them into their sphere. No one can get in or out, create holes in the sphere, or teleport through. With their sun presumably gone from their sphere, it is uncertain if they will even be able to survive, but considering the destruction they have brought to the entire Realm, very few beings care.

Warning buoys have been placed in a pattern around the Sphere. The Elven Navy patrols the sphere keeping any ships away from it. In one of the first agreements of a possible all Realm organization it was unanimously agreed that contact with the sphere, or any Drow, is punishable by death.

Since the banishment, there has not been a single Drow sighted in the Known Realms.
